A winning combination of good location, great food and excellent service. We had the pizza and pasta al forno and both were really good!

Service was quick and nice, the kitchen was good, appetizingly presented and tasty. Only the portions were not the same size for different spaghetti variations. Highly recommended.

Mega nice atmosphere, the food was also very good! Will definitely visit this place again. The only drawback for which I deduct a star is the staff. It's friendly, but not so personable at first. It could be more open and communicative. And as a little tip: you can recognize a smile despite a mask.

By far the most unfriendly staff that we had on our vacation in the Black Forest. It is incomprehensible how one can award an average of 4.3 stars here. The main thing is to offer overpriced pizzas, to collect the money and to ignore the guests for their entire stay ... There was no tip! Food was at least very good, but waiting too long.

The food was excellent. Personally, I don't know any better Italian and I travel a lot in Germany! But it only gives it 3 stars, because the service for billing was extremely impolite. When we were told that the bill had to be split and three families would pay, we were "cashed" with such malicious, annoyed behavior, which made us honestly wonder whether we would ever visit this restaurant again or even recommend it. The ordered dishes were served in a pleasant time and the cook was a very warm and nice person!

Pizza mega delicious, just 80 minutes is definitely too long. The staff could inform the guest that it is taking so long. In general, it would be desirable if the staff noticed you more. No one was at the table from ordering to delivering the pizza. Service is different, sorry. If the pizza were not so good, I would not eat there anymore.

Very comfortably furnished in the vaulted cellar. Very individual and romantic. Good selection of pasta and pizzas. The pasta portion was rather clear while salad plates and pizzas were large. Parking rather difficult. Reservation makes sense.

Friendly service, good food, the pizzas are good, unfortunately mine was a little too floury. Orders have been forgotten for the second time. For 2 pizzas approx. 2 hours is clearly too long. If you forget a customer you should at least apologize.

Nice, cosy atmosphere and lovely food. Staff helpful. Note it is a cash only restaurant, luckily we had cash!

Our host in Gengenbach recommended this restaurant, exquisite managers and staff, made us feel at home and pampered us with a thousand attentions. As indicated, we take the cordon bleu ... a single word DIVINO! I am not kidding, it was really great and despite being very abundant I found it light and digestible! A real treat! Great prices, BEAUTIFUL local. Judge for yourself from the photos! If you happen to go to Gengenbach you can't go! Thanks again for the fantastic dinner!

The food was exceptional but unfortunately the service was super unfriendly. We were made to wait despite there being tables free, service was slow and we were made to feel like outsiders. Approach with caution if you are a tourist.

Exceptionally tasty food. I had a great Carpaccio, and a (not minimalist, but) amazing carbonara! Would definitely go back. I sat outside, so don't know how it is downstairs.
